If you’ve been romping through your sex life without boundaries and seriousness, expect your gonads to be sacrificed to Almighty Saturn when it transitions into Scorpio — such as from October 5, 2012 through September 18, 2015. Saturn is the disciplinarian of the Zodiac, and, in the case of society’s bedrooms, it will become the sex monitor over the next few years, reinforcing commitment, responsibility and, yes, even old, stodgy tradition until late 2015. Get ready for the sexually avant garde to be spanked and cuffed.
Often represented by the Grim Reaper, Saturn is mythic bringer of death, both literally and figuratively. Over the next three years of planet Saturn’s sojourn in the sign of Scorpio, expect:
death to orgies.
death to “Friends With Benefits.”
death to the ease and accessibility of the “booty call.”
death to one night stands.
death to the “joy” of extramarital affairs.
death to empty weekend Flings.
death to using and exploiting people JUST for sex.
death to the glorification of meaningless sex in the media.
death to any undefined, nebulous, frivolous sexual activities..
The above behaviors will likely become greater hazards in the age of Saturn in Scorpio.Proceed with caution.
No need to mourn the death of the vacuous, casual sex culture that has degraded sexuality to perhaps one of lowest points in generations, however.
Sex has been reduced to the most basic, wretched level — and that lowly form of sex has seeped beyond the fringe into the mainstream where it has been accepted and glorified in the arts and the media. Something had to stop this runaway train to the twin destinations of Debauchery and Soulless Sex Land.
Could modern sexuality get much worse?
Admit it. Did you really enjoy that F.W.B relationship? Or were you just pretending? Were you really emotionally satisfied without substance and commitment that Saturn will seek to inspire in its transit? Do you really mind if Saturn makes people set standards or pay the consequences if they don’t?
Saturn is definitely about giving just desserts and those who continue to flirt with empty sex may face consequences up to and including diseases — even the fatal kind.
Saturn in Scorpio will give boundaries and limits to all that Scorpio rules — not just sex — but emotional messes, finances, covert actions, privacy, indulgence in the taboo, etc. The goal of Saturn is to add substance; it means well. Although, in enforcing rules, Saturn may leave many feeling they are sexually repressed.
While Saturn is the confiner and Scorpio is the rebel, these two energies coming together in a transit need not lead to only problems. Scorpio suns will likely be able to make some tangible improvements in their lives at the point Saturn enters a degree conjunct their sun. They may feel more stabilized and able to (or forced to) face realities that they had been avoiding. Scorpios may find they are able to better establish themselves in the world — provided that they’ve already laid the groundwork.
Regarding their sex lives, Scorpios, many of whom actually prefer sex with substance and attachment, may, in the end, be grateful to Saturn for encouraging them to be mature and committed sexually.
